Publications & Reports
The CLWC has a wide collection of published materials including the Council's strategic planning documents, scientific research, as well as helpful documents for our municipal partners and the general public. Several documents were created with grant funding, and some were prepared for the Watershed Council by an outside agency such as FLCC or an engineering firm. If you are looking for something specific or have questions about any of these documents, please contact the Watershed Council.

These regulations are particularly important for reducing non-point source pollution. The municipalities have primary land use control in New York State. The Watershed Council provides assistance to the municipalities in developing regulations and technical assistance in implementing regulations.
Enacted in 2012 by all of the municipalities with shoreline on Canandaigua Lake, the UDML regulates navigational access to the lake.
Legislation regulating private, onsite wastewater treatment systems (septic systems). This law was approved by the CLWC for adoption by member municipalities. See individual municipal codes for specific regulations for each municipality.
